Session I

Theatre CELEBRATION Week!
Date: JUNE 30th-JULY 3rd 2008
Time: 9:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.
Grades: kindergarten to fourth grade
Price: $100 (Includes daily snack and pizza lunch on Friday.)
The Palace Performing Arts School’s Theatre CELEBRATION Week is a memorable experience for elementary age students interested in learning basic theatre skills. This week long program includes daily lessons encompassing all aspects of theatre, including movement, voice, and acting, along with many other technical and creative aspects of the theatre; all of which are geared toward the appropriate age level. ! Each day the students will participate in a series of activities all of which will be pertaining to a specific theme of the day, keeping each and every day unique and entertaining. During the course of the week time will be taken from each day to rehearse a short play which showcases all the students have learned. The play will be performed for student’s families on thursday, July 3rd @ 2:00p.m.

Date: July 7-25, 2008; Monday-Friday
Time: 9:00a.m.- 3:00p.m.
Grades: Entering fourth- ninth
Price: $275 (includes daily snacks and a pizza lunch on Fridays)
Friday July 25, 2008 @ 1:00pm and 7:00pm Students of the 2007 Palace Performing Arts School will be performing:
Students of the Palace Performing Arts School will not only be learning the dances, songs, and scenes which will be performed in the musical Annie Junior; they will be involved in all aspects of the production. This includes designing and creating both sets and costumes, learning all aspects of auditioning, the technique of make-up, and the technical components of the theatre. This is sure to be an enjoyable and enriching experience for each and every participant.
